Junior Tournaments
As official sponsor of the French International Tennis Championships, partner to the Davis Cup and several other major international tournaments, BNP Paribas has announced that it is to support championships for all categories of players, with a special focus on young people.
With a view to fulfilling its international commitment to young tennis players from all countries, BNP Paribas -Title Sponsor of the Davis Cup – has become the sponsor of the Junior Davis Cup.
Tournaments in France
An all-round tennis sponsor, BNP Paribas has taken yet another step towards those young people who wish to start playing competitively, by sponsoring international tournaments taking place in France. All of these tournaments are ratified by the European Tennis Association (ETA) and rank among the best European tournaments.
Many great names, men and women, from the current professional circuit have taken part in – and won – a number of these tournaments: Martina Hingis and Elena Dementieva have won the TIM91; Nicolas Escudé and Roger Federer have won the Hauts de France; Magnus Norman and Alex Corretja have won the Pont des Générations; Lindsay Davenport, Amélie Mauresmo and Marc Philipoussis have won the Derby Cadets de La Baule, Justine Henin-Hardenne has won the BNP Paribas Cup (former City of Paris Junior Open), etc.
