Official sponsor of the French International Tennis Championships, partner to the Davis Cup and several other major international tournaments, BNP Paribas is committed to supporting tennis for all categories of players, from the youngest juniors to full-fledged professionals.
In France, in addition to sponsoring pro tournaments and major competitions for young people, such as the La Baule Junior Derby, the Pontet "Pont des Générations" tournament and the BNP Paribas Cup, the Bank is actively involved in the regions, sponsoring more than 400 club tournaments each year. Regional BNP Paribas offices initiate these actions and define their own communications strategies to support them. In the same spirit, specific partnership agreements are forged between certain FFT leagues and BNP Paribas regional offices.
In line with these operations, BNP Paribas is also committed to fostering close ties throughout the French tennis community, encompassing local clubs and their directors, tennis instructors and all levels of players and all ages, from beginners to the more accomplished.
After discussions with the French Tennis Federation, BNP Paribas has announced that is supporting new tennis coaching methods by becoming the official sponsor of the "progressive tennis" initiative, one of the most exciting recent developments in the world of tennis. The bank's name is now associated with all communications regarding this innovative program.
