"Make your dreams come true"
BNP Paribas, Adidas and the French Tennis Federation (FFT) have teamed up to organize the selection of ball boys and girls for one of the world's most prestigious tennis tournaments: the French Open/Roland Garros.
The ball boys and girls at the French Open are expected to be as sharp as a hawk and as swift as a cheetah. But to get the chance to become part of this elite, the youngsters have to undergo a grueling selection and training process. They are selected from among members of FFT clubs aged between 12 and 16 years.

Since 2003, the selections will occur in two stages. The first stage will held in 7 French Towns (for 2006: Reims, Vertou, Olivet, Lyon, Moliets, La Grande Motte, Honfleur) and Roland Garros for youngsters from the Ile de France. The trials will include physical tests and games (physical exercises, riddles and multiple choice questions).
The second stage will bring together the children that have been selected. The young people selected then will take part in training course during school holidays. It is only then that the final list is announced of the fortunate youngsters who will go on to work the most exciting event on the French annual tennis agenda.
BNP Paribas has made the "Ball Boys and Girls" at the French Open/Roland Garros operation a priority focus of its partnership, demonstrating once again its commitment to tennis and to young people.
