Open de Moselle (Metz)

The new ATP tennis tournament, the Moselle Open, is one of the three competitions in the "International Series" held in France. It replaces the Toulouse Open, which disappeared after the dramatic explosion at the AZF factory in September 2001.

With prize money of 380,000 euros, the Moselle Open will launch the season of indoor tournaments, before Lyon and just less than a month before the BNP Paribas Masters.

It was only natural that BNP Paribas, a sponsor of the Toulouse Open should accept to be the sponsor of its replacement: The Moselle Open.
